On Friday 18th March our creative A Level art students took part in an exciting Art Paint Off event at the Alperton Art Studios by the canal. Everyone really enjoyed the event, including the many visitors from the public, local MP from Brent and NHS Mental Health representatives. The A Level students were joined by our younger art, drama and music students who took part in what proved to be an inspiring afternoon full of entertaining painting, singing and spoken word. Some of the outcomes will be auctioned off to benefit the Red Nose Day Charity.

Please see the email below received from the event organiser.

Dear Gerard McKenna,

I am sending this email to say a big thank you to the important role that Alperton Community School, faculty and pupils played in making this event magical for everyone.

I have had great feedback from attendees which includes art teachers and artists about the concept and execution, all of which could not have been possible if your school and faculty members of the art and music departments had not been so supportive.

I thank you again and trust that we will be collaborating again on future events.

White gazebo was used as a large canvas for everyone to paint, inside and out. This herein below, was at the end of the afternoon.

Please see below some photos from the event.
