Alperton Open Day - Wednesday 18 September
Dear Parents and Carers,
This is a reminder that our annual Open Day event will take place next week, on Wednesday, 18 September from 4.00PM to 7.30PM at our Ealing Road school. If you have a younger child, or know someone who might be interested in the event, you can book a place HERE. To accommodate the event, we have made some minor adjustments to the start and end times of the school day on Wednesday 18 September and Thursday 19 September, as detailed below:

We are delighted to share with you our Autumn 2024 Extra-curricular clubs for your child to sign up to. Extra-curricular clubs are a great way to learn a new skill and make new friends, so we encourage students to join at least 2 clubs each term.

Elevate Education will be hosting a free webinar for our parents on motivation on Tuesday 17th September – their first webinar of the year.
Elevate works with our students, delivering high-impact workshops on study skills, motivation, wellbeing, and exam preparation. By tuning into their webinar series, you’ll learn how you can help support your child at home by reinforcing the skills they’re learning at school.
Their upcoming webinar on motivation will give you some easy-to-implement strategies to help your child get focused on achieving their goals this year.

Year 7 Parent Information
Year 7 Parent Information Evening Reminder
A reminder that the Year 7 Parent Information Evenings will take place next week on Tuesday (7K, 7L, 7N, 7P, 7Q and 7R) and Wednesday (7S, 7T, 7V, 7W, 7X and 7Y). The timings are 5 pm – 6:30 pm. These are important opportunities to learn more about how we can work together to support your child’s education and attendance is essential. We look forward to seeing you there.
ParentPay and MCAS Drop-In Sessions
We are offering drop-in sessions for parents and carers of Year 7 students who need help with ParentPay or MCAS. The sessions will take place on Monday 9 September, Tuesday 10 September and Wednesday 11 September, from 9:30am to 11:00am. If you need assistance setting up or navigating these platforms, please feel free to attend.
Year 7 Students Purchasing Food at Break and Lunch
For Year 7 students purchasing food at break and lunch, please ensure their ParentPay account is topped up with enough money to cover purchases. All students are expected to bring a water bottle with them daily.
For students who receive free school meals, £2.70 is allocated per day. This amount should ideally be spent at lunchtime to avoid overspending. Please note, students must be eligible to receive free school meals, and they do not receive this automatically. To check eligibility, please click here. There is a £5 daily limit on student spending for all purchases.
If any parents or carers are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact the school for support and guidance.
