Alperton students have worked with our art teacher Andria Zafirakou to redesign the Ealing Road zebra crossing. Students, staff and ACS community can now vote on the best design which will be painted on the road. Voting closes Friday 4th Dec. (more…)
Alperton Community School is the only secondary school in Brent who currently holds the Healthy Schools Silver Award, for our work to support the health and wellbeing of staff and pupils. This is a great achievement for all staff and students involved. (more…)

Founded nearly 40 years ago, Black History Month is celebrated in the UK every October to recognise the contributions black people have made to this country over many generations. This month students will be involved in a number of activities and classroom projects and learn about influential personalities. Last week our EAL students had an inspirational morning with our Headteacher Mr McKenna discussing the completion of their EAL induction programme. They were very excited and proud to receive their induction certicates.
We are proud to announce we have been selected to take part in the World Education Week amongst 100 other schools who will gather online from 5th-9th October to share their expertise and best practices. Each school will host a one hour online event focusing on a key educational topic. Our school will feature on Thursday 8 October at 5pm showcasing how to achieve excellence in a multicultural community through an inclusive curriculum and school culture.
Congratulations to all our students on an excellent set of GCSE and A Level results. In spite of the coronavirus pandemic and examination chaos, our students have demonstrated incredible resilience and determination to succeed and achieve the results they deserve. (more…)
