Many thanks to everyone who supported our initiative to help three different charities this winter.

Our year 7 students will be donating via the Samaritan Operation Christmas Child a total of 23 shoe boxes filled with small gifts for children, boys and girls aged 2-4, 7- 9 and 10-13, who would otherwise receive no gifts this year. This is an impressive achievement considering the contributions received were only from our year 7 students within a period of two weeks. Many thanks to Ms Kerai and the members of her Random Acts of Kindness Club for organising this successful project.

Our year 8 to 11 students have also managed to fill 8 crates with tinned food, pasta and other non-perishable food items which will be donated to the Sufra Community Food Bank in Wembley. Many thanks to Mr Tan, Head of Student Voice, for coordinating this project. Our year 12 students have also been donating various toiletry items to help the homeless. Many thanks to Ms Edwards for leading this part of the project.

We hope this fantastic effort will be appreciated by our community and we are very grateful to everyone who supported us – if you can give a little, together, we can give a lot. This is one of the reasons we are proud to be part of a true community school.
