On Friday 8th December our KS3 students took part in a fun and engaging Flamenco workshop. They learned about flamenco as an art form which was based on the various folkloric music traditions of Southern Spain, developed within the gitano subculture of the region of Andalusia. Students had a wonderful time during the workshop and clapped and sang Christmas carols in Spanish.

Students will always remember this day as it is an original and creative way to learn Spanish. Many thanks to Ms Lopez for organising this opportunity for our students and to the MFL department and Ms Ryan for their support.
