Earlier this year our year 12 students visited the ‘Roses’ Exhibition at Alexander McQueen showroom near Bond Street. The students gained an insight into the fashion industry and the creative process involved in creating a fashion collection. (more…)
On Saturday 7th  March 2020 two teams from ACS took part in the Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition in Willesden Magistrates‘ Court. Students were competing against schools in Northwest London taking on the roles of lawyers, witnesses, magistrates and court staff. (more…)
On Friday 7 February, a group of KS4 students attended an exclusive private screening of the national award-winning movie ‘Hellaro’ as part of their GCSE Gujarati studies. The movie, a true story about female empowerment, courage and freedom, addressed many issues that are also faced by our students. For some of them, this was their first trip ever to the cinema and they were really inspired by the main characters. (more…)

On Monday 10 February our LS8 students were invited to the Learning Zone at Wembley Stadium to take part in a career progression workshop. The students learnt how to identify their strengths and weaknesses and use this information to assess the type of career they wish to pursue. (more…)
On Thursday, 6th of February, Alperton Media students visited The Guardian Foundation Education Centre. They took part in an exciting media workshop and learned how to create a broadsheet newspaper front page using Mac computers and Adobe InDesign. (more…)
On Wednesday 22 January, our student Imani (Year 10) took part in the prestigious Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge Regional Final. Imani delivered a powerful speech in front of a large audience including staff, students and their families, the Mayor of Brent and a board of eminent judges. (more…)
On Wednesday 22 January, our LS8 students went on a trip to the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon. The students learned about the WW1 and WW2 aircraft as well as the latest innovations in Technology and the Armed Forces. (more…)
