We have put together a few resources for our school community to commemorate the recent death of George Floyd in the USA and reflect upon the protests around the world paying tribute to him and others who have suffered injustice and brutality.

Earlier this year our year 12 students visited the ‘Roses’ Exhibition at Alexander McQueen showroom near Bond Street. The students gained an insight into the fashion industry and the creative process involved in creating a fashion collection. (more…)
On Saturday 7th  March 2020 two teams from ACS took part in the Magistratesâ Court Mock Trial Competition in Willesden Magistrates‘ Court. Students were competing against schools in Northwest London taking on the roles of lawyers, witnesses, magistrates and court staff. (more…)
On Friday 7 February, a group of KS4 students attended an exclusive private screening of the national award-winning movie ‘Hellaro’ as part of their GCSE Gujarati studies. The movie, a true story about female empowerment, courage and freedom, addressed many issues that are also faced by our students. For some of them, this was their first trip ever to the cinema and they were really inspired by the main characters. (more…)
