On the last week of term, our English department arranged for The Globe Players to perform adaptations of ‘Macbeth’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’. The Year 10 and Year 11 students were treated to dazzling renditions that enriched their appreciation of these GCSE Literature texts as well as developed their cultural capital. The feedback from students and teachers was extremely positive, and we can’t wait to invite the company of actors back again.
