Over the last few weeks our RAK club (Random Acts of Kindness) along with our Year 7’s have been busy collecting everything from cuddly toys, puzzles to hygiene products for the Samaritan Purse – Operation Christmas Child Project.
On Thursday 1 November we were delighted to host a great Open Evening event at our Stanley Avenue site. We’ve had a high number of students and parents turning up for the evening and they found the experience extremely useful and informative. (more…)

On Thursday 13 September, Alperton celebrated another successful year of excellent GCSE and A Level results. Our students have made outstanding progress, with results well above the national average. Many of our A Level students progress further to study at prestigious Russell Group universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial University College London (UCL), Warwick, the London School of Economics (LSE) and Kings College. Once again, Alperton Community School has produced an excellent set of results at GCSE. This year we have seen a surge in our attainment score which has improved by over 3 points in spite of the increased challenge of the new GCSEs. (more…)
Alperton Community School students have again exceeded all expectations with a tremendous set of A Level results. Â With some results yet to come in, ACS students have been awarded 81 A* and A grades, with almost 50% of the examinations being awarded A*, A or B grades. As a result more than 40% of the A level cohort has been accepted onto top degree courses at prestigious Russell Group universities. (more…)
Another load of maths textbooks and excercise books were dropped off to depot in Marlow. These books will be shipped to Sierra Leone and will make a small difference in the education mission of Build on Books. (more…)
On Friday 13 July, the year 9 students of Alperton Community School had the privilege of meeting the Holocaust survivor Zigi Shipper. The 88 year old survivor delivered an emotional and inspiring talk, describing his dreadful experiences of the Ghetto and Auschwitz. (more…)
