Alperton ex-student Carl Campbell, who has recently embarked onto a wonderful basketball career at The Phelps School, Pennsylvania USA, visited our school last month to thank his teachers for all their support during his formation years at Alperton. Carl attended one of our celebration assemblies and spoke to the students about his experiences during his time at Alperton and gave them more details about choosing a career in basketball.
Carl has spent the last four years playing for London United at U16 and U18 level before leaving to USA. Emma Chambers, Director of London United was happy for Carl’s successes and said: “For the past four years Carl was a pleasure to deal with both in academic and sporting terms and he fully deserves this chance.”
Alperton would like to congratulate Carl for his wonderful career and wishes him the very best of luck for the future.
