Alperton Community School is an inclusive, comprehensive school with a student intake that reflects a wonderfully diverse and vibrant local community. We are a large, mixed, 11-18 academy with over 300 students in our sixth form.
Our students have a passion for learning and are truly welcoming and respectful. Learning takes place in a culture of mutual respect, where our caring, expert staff delivers high quality teaching and learning to help students achieve their ambitions.
We are very fortunate to have opened a new school building in January 2017. The new building has purpose-built specialist Drama, Music, Art and DT facilities, as well as 14 Science laboratories, 10 ICT rooms and a new MUGA.
Our most recent Ofsted rating in July 2016 recognised the school as Good with Outstanding Leadership and Management.
The school achieved an amazing set of GCSE and A Level results in the 2017 examinations. The percentage of students achieving good grades in English and Maths at GCSE has increased by 14% since 2014. One in every four students achieved top grades G7-9 in English and Maths (top 3% in the country). Every student in our school achieves better than national expectation by over half a grade in all their GCSE. At A Level, 49% of the students achieved A*-B grade and almost 1 in 3 students gained entry to Russell Group Universities – 3 students were accepted to Oxbridge, 8 students were accepted to Medicine degrees, 2 students to Dentistry and 25 students to Computer Science degrees.
Alperton School is also the winner of the Maths Team of the Year award in the 2017 TES competition and a Platinum Award winner in Professional Development.
We are extremely proud of our school and if you wish to join our team, we would love to hear from you.
