On Wednesday 14 November, nine of our A level Spanish students enjoyed an interesting and original Spanish play at the Cervantes Theatre in Central London.
The play was performed on a 360° stage called “Yerma”. The author of the tragedy, Federico García Lorca, was a well-known Spanish playwright and theatre director, with whom our students are very familiar. They are currently reading another play of his “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”, therefore this was a fantastic opportunity for them to expand on their knowledge on the subject and to improve theirs skills in Spanish.
