Eco students attended their second of six eco workshops part of the Urban Oasis Project, an inspiring new community-led initiative in Alperton and Harlesden. Garden designer Juliette Lee and her team Tara Hanif and Linda Mngwali worked with students to make a small mock up planter with a range of different plants made from recycled materials.
Students learned about the types of plants and herbs that could be grown in the planter and how to arrange the plants in height order. In the third workshop we will be participating in a site visit to the garden where the planter will be built.
