Congratulations to our year 12 Textiles students who have made the London Finals of Junk Kouture Global Fashion Competition, which required students to create a garment made entirely out of waste materials, promoting sustainability. This is a huge achievement, as they were competing against students across the country and it is an incredibly competitive competition.
Please check out the presentation below to see the finalists’ work as well as the other entries from our Year 12 students. Although the other two teams were not shortlisted, their final outcomes are also highly creative and they all deserve some praise for how hard they worked in the competition.
On Wednesday 20 May it will be announced which teams have made it to the Global final event – an incredible opportunity to go abroad and showcase their designs in a fashion show competing against teams from around the world. Please see below a poster with more details about the event.
