On Friday 13 February, 41 students and 6 staff headed out to Italy for the inaugural Alperton Community School Ski Trip. Despite the long journey everyone was super excited to get out to the snow and develop their skills.
Sunday started with a walk around to get to know the resort before starting their lessons in the afternoon. Students then had two lessons each day with their fantastic Italian instructors and an evening activity.
On Thursday students and staff were treated to a white out, with the resort experiencing some of the deepest snow in 20 years! Thursday evening finished with a disco – many thanks to DJ Roberts and MC Pindoria for organising this.
Just like that it was time to head home with students having a very long journey arriving back to base Saturday evening.
