Year 8 students participated in their first Young Green Briton Challenge on Wednesday 4 February. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to work in teams to discuss key environmental issues and come up with creative solutions to resolve them both at home and within our local community.

They are the next generation who will be able to make a difference in reducing carbon emissions and this challenge competition allowed students to be more eco aware about key environmental issues.

The students showed great enthusiasm for resolving climate issues and showed excellent behaviour throughout the day.

Thank you to all the Year 8 teachers who supported the Drop Down Day, the form tutors for preparing pre material and groupings, and to the pastoral team who ensured the smooth running of the day.
