On Monday 14 July Laura Demspey Executive Director and Founder of GenEarth UK delivered a workshop to our year 9 textiles students on ‘Solving Fashion’s Waste Problems’.
During the workshop students worked in teams to discover the environmental impact of fashion waste, learned how we can shape a more sustainable future and exploited how we can become a sustainable fashion leader in our own school or community. The workshop allowed young people to feel inspired, empowered and better informed about fashion’s waste problems.
