On Thursday, 22 May, thirty KS3 students attended an Army cricket match at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. This experience allowed the students to see a sporting event while learning about the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship and they also had the opportunity to visit the Cricket Ground’s Museum.
The match featured teams from the British Army, showcasing skilled players competing in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Throughout the day, students demonstrated excellent behaviour and enthusiasm, engaging with the event and showing great respect to players and spectators. The visit also offered an insight into military life and the values upheld by the Army. This trip was a fantastic opportunity for KS3 students to broaden their horizons outside the classroom.
