On Wednesday 7th February, a group of Year 9 and 10 students were invited to a Graduation Event that took place at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford. This was in celebration of their work on The Scholars Programme and gave them the opportunity to reflect on their options for university. (more…)
On Tuesday, 30 January, our Year 13 students delivered 4 big boxes of food to the local charity Sufra NW London. Within the last two weeks the students collected food items such as tins of beans, cereal, biscuits and chapatti flour and donated them to the local charity Sufra, which provides the homeless with hot meals and other vital services and activities. Each box of food was also labelled by our students with individual warm and kind messages. (more…)

On Tuesday 16th January, Alperton took part in the prestigious Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge competition. Our participant students, Shanti Smith, Zadeia Matthews and Alisha Boadi made us all proud when they delivered their powerful speeches to a large audience including staff, students and their families, the Mayor of Brent and eight eminent judges.
