HEAD BOY – MUHAMMED AL-DIRAA
STUDYING: CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, MATHS, FURTHER MATHS

I’m very passionate about our school – I’ve been at Alperton since year 7 and have cherished all my experiences here. The teachers are extremely helpful and the school is very supportive. What I love most about Alperton is its sense of community – we have students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and ethnicities and we celebrate our diversity. Whilst our school has consistently won prestigious awards, such as the TES Maths Team of the Year Award, and the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize, I wish to improve our school even further, to facilitate learning and progress while making school life as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

HEAD GIRL – RITA BANDHARI
STUDYING: BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, PSYCHOLOGY

My educational journey at Alperton Community School commenced  in 2013, and the knowledge, values and skills I have attained in these past years at ACS  will stay with me for a lifetime. Social cohesion is at the heart of this school and that is what differentiates us from the rest. It is an immense privilege for me to be the Head Girl of this amazing institution, where students always come first, and I will do everything in my power to do this role justice. Here at Alperton, we embody the ethos: ready , respectful, responsible and resilient to achieve our full potential and this is reflected in the amazing success and opportunities we have obtained. My main focus as a Head Girl will be mentoring – I want to reflect on the experiences I’ve gathered here at Alperton and apply them to support those in the years below, to ensure they too gain the best experiences and results they desire; I will provide revision guidance and one-to-one support, so together we can: Aspire, Commit, Succeed.

DEPUTY HEAD BOY – DHARMIC MEGGI
STUDYING: MATHS, PSYCHOLOGY, ECONOMICS

Being part of Alperton since Year 7 all the way to sixth form has motivated me to give something back to this diverse, sociable and welcoming community. Being offered the role of Deputy Head Boy has not only made me excited, but also determined to make changes that our students want to see in our community and that will enable them to achieve their full potential. As a Deputy Head Boy, my aim is to enhance the way students from both sites communicate and exchange ideas with each other. I would like to reciprocate the motivation and dedication that I have received here at Alperton, to encourage other students to become more involved in opportunities offered inside and outside school..

DEPUTY HEAD BOY – DANIEL BOADI
STUDYING: BIOLOGY, ENGLISH lITERATURE, PSYCHOLOGY

I’ve been at  Alperton since Year 9 and have found that both teachers and students really motivate and inspire each other; and this ‘togetherness’, I believe, has developed my character and has created a stimulating and conducive learning environment for many other students. I believe that Alperton strives because of its values of community and achievement, which enables students to aspire for their best. As Deputy Head Boy, I intend to work with the student leadership team to promote and implement these ideas in order to allow ACS students to gain confidence, knowledge and skills that will help them in the future. I look forward to the feedback from our students and to making changes that will benefit all Alperton students.

DEPUTY HEAD GIRL- JUBAYDAH UDDIN
STUDYING: BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, MATHS

Alperton Community School has always been an inclusive and welcoming school to every single pupil, regardless of their background, which is why it is home to such a widely diverse network of students. This puts an emphasis on the word “community” which is a big part of the ethos of our school.  Studying here for almost six years now has built my character and improved my knowledge, confidence and my understanding of morality. In terms of my role in the student leadership team, my aim is to promote extracurricular activities outside school life, such as insight programmes with the top Russell Group universities, that our students can take advantage of. These programmes are available to all year groups and will provide useful information about universities and offer advice on available career options.

DEPUTY HEAD GIRL – AMINA MOKRANI
STUDYING: BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, SPANISH

As an Alperton Community School student, I believe I have developed a variety of skills over the past few years, which have contributed to shaping my mindset on certain aspects. To a large extent, Alperton has offered many opportunities and experiences which have allowed me to develop into a diligent and passionate member of this school. Alperton is the focal point of a welcoming and compassionate community and welcomes students with different competencies and abilities, allowing them to develop their skills and confidence. As Deputy Head Girl, I aspire to guide the transformation of these students into insightful young adults, by organising activities and ELDs which will help them obtain such skills. I also wish to focus on societies and enrichments to ensure that all students can take part in a wide range of activities and enjoy their time at Alperton Community School.

At Alperton, all teachers and students work really hard to ensure we are all getting the best out of the school, enabling us to achieve our full potential. Alperton has always been very supportive and encouraged me go beyond my comfort zone, which enabled me to become a more enthusiastic and well-rounded individual. I have always felt a sense of community since the start of school and I believe this has made me feel more welcomed. Having the role of an Assistant Head Girl will further strengthen and advance my enthusiasm to contribute towards the school community, by helping organise societies and extracurricular activities and to further improve ELDs, by making them both more informative and engaging for the students.

ASSISTANT DEPUTY HEAD GIRL – AMAL FARAH
STUDYING: MATHS, BIOLOGY, HISTORY

Alperton Community School has always been passionate about every student’s education. The teachers are supportive and always go out of their way to help you. What distinguishes Alperton from the other schools is that the majority of the students are from ethnic minorities which enhances the community spirit felt by all of us. ACS has helped me tremendously in aspiring to reach for the best I can do, by providing unique opportunities, advice and support. In my position as Assistant Deputy Head Girl I will use the Sixth Form Mentoring programme to ensure that every sixth form student is paired with a younger student for academic and wellbeing support. I believe this will further enhance the caring and communal school environment we have, by bridging the gap between the different years groups.
