We are proud to announce that Alperton has been awarded the Gold Award within the TfL Stars Accreditation Scheme and we are now in the top 10% of London schools, having demonstrated our commitment to increase safer and more sustainable travel amongst our school community.
Our Travel Ambassadors have been working with Mrs Lucas to develop their plan to reduce car travel amongst students. We have also worked with Mrs Springer from Brent to ensure that our evidence is entered at the correct level, demonstrating the variety of travel activities our students get involved in. We must continue working on adding evidence under the categories of travel, supporting eco travel and consultation with parents and governors to maintain this level of award.
